Chanctonbury Ring Morris perform north-west clog dances in procession as part of Lewes Borough Bonfire Society's parade each. Three years ago they put a call out for musicians to help them keep the beat, as they often cannot hear the melodeons and other instruments over the noise. Brighton Mummers stepped in to provide percussion. This is a recording of the rhythm section at the back of the back. Rough, but loud and capturing something of the spirit of this incredible, moving event.
